Tina Swithin
Tina Swithin is an internationally recognized author, advocate, and speaker known for her unflinching commitment to reforming the family court system and protecting children from post separation abuse.
As the founder of One Mom’s Battle, a grassroots movement with over 250,000 members worldwide, Tina brings personal experience, compassion and years of survivor-centered work to every audience she addresses. Her 10-year journey through family court to protect her daughters, during which she acted as her own attorney, gives her presentations rare authenticity and insight.
Tina speaks candidly about the systemic failures that put children at risk, the realities of post separation abuse, and the urgent need for reform. She educates professionals, lawmakers, advocates, and the public on recognizing these harmful dynamics and the importance of prioritizing child safety in every decision.
She has testified before legislators and Senate committees in multiple states, addressed Canada’s House of Commons, and supported the passage of critical child-protection laws—including co-sponsoring California’s Piqui’s Law through Family Court Awareness Month. She has worked tirelessly to educate legislators about the history and risks of dangerous reunification programs.
