OMB State Chapters and OMB Worldwide Chapters

At One Mom’s Battle (OMB), we have purposefully chosen to keep our main Facebook page open to the public since 2011.

Why? We believe this issue has been kept in the dark for far too long. Change will not happen if we do not shine a light on these issues.

Let us explain further: as a result of our #EducateYourJudge packets, we have many family court professionals who are on the One Mom's Battle Facebook page watching your journeys and learning right along side us. For this reason (and many others), our page will always be open to the public. With that said, I recognize the need for private groups specific to states, countries and regions.

Please Note: private groups often give people a false sense of security. Do not write anything in a private group (ANY private group) that you wouldn't feel comfortable reading out loud in a courtroom. If a subpoena is issued for your social media, everything will be seen regardless if it was written or deleted from private messages, private groups or secret groups. Be very careful about what you write when it comes to social media. If you are seeking extra security outside of social media, please consider joining a private forum such as The Lemonade Club.

The following are the requirements to join one of our private chapters. The requirements are very strict to ensure the safety of group members however, it is still the internet so please use your best judgment. To join a Chapter of OMB (please read thoroughly and cut/paste this checklist for reference). Applicants who do not submit all of the required information will be denied:

  1. Email the following to OMBStateChapters@gmail.com:

    • Copy (photo) of driver's license or government issued identification.

    • Nutshell version of your situation or case.

    • Which chapter are you applying for?

    • Tell us why do you want to join this private chapter of OMB?

    • If you are one of my coaching clients or I personally know you, the above information is not required of you. You can email OMBstatechapters@gmail.com.

    2. AFTER you have completed the steps above, you can search for your local chapter (below) and apply to join. Please do not apply to join the below Facebook group until all of the above steps have been completed.
