My Book, Court and an Exciting Announcement

What a morning!Regardless of how confident one feels about their case, there is still anxiety and anticipation revolving around the actual courtroom experience. You just never know what will happen.I arrived in court alone this morning as my fiance had a work related event and couldn't be with me. Shortly after, Seth arrived and his attorney was a few minutes behind him. Upon seeing them in the hallway, I could immediately tell that his attorney was reviewing the submitted paperwork for the first time. Seth is submitting his own paperwork while utilizing the attorney's letterhead which seems unprofessional (on the attorney's part) and downright bizarre. If Seth's attorney is trying to make a name for himself in our county (he normally practices two hours away) then he has chosen the wrong case to accomplish that goal!I had prepared a five page declaration outlining my goals with the book, the new direction of my blog and the steps that I've taken to ensure that my daughters' best interests are being served in my latest book endeavor. I also printed out my manuscript and submitted it as evidence. Included in my paperwork was the previous two judgments related to my blog which had both been denied. The Commissioner was clearly agitated that this was in front of him again. Minor's Counsel stance was that nothing appears to be inappropriate (from what he's reviewed) and that I have a right to freedom of speech. Seth's attorney was made to answer to "why" this was in front of the court again.  He didn't have a valid excuse other than Seth was very emotional and passionate about this issue and that he had tried to counsel him against bringing it in front of the court. The Commissioner then reprimanded the attorney (pretty heavily) about not letting Seth sail the ship, etc. For half of a nano-second, I felt bad for the attorney as all of his colleagues were watching this public lashing to which he replied (multiple times), "I am sorry, your Honor."The Commission refused to hear the motion and threw it out while making it very clear that he does not want to hear about the book or blog ever again. He said that I have the right to write about anything that I choose.I left court and soon after began receiving text messages from Seth: "Commissioner can't make a judgment on your blog/book as there is no legal code to cite to protect the children from parental alienation, slander, libel and defamation of the other parent. I was not aware of this fact and hoped he would take five minutes to read the nonsense fiction in your blog. However, our custody evaluator can form and write an opinion on how this is adversely affecting the children emotionally and when they read it, it will scar them for life.  This is all now in the court file he will be reviewing. The effort in filing this was made to protect my children from the emotional damage you are and will continue to cause is 100% worth it regardless of (Commissioners) lack of interest in you or me. The civil division of the California Superior Court can and does rule on matters of libel, slander and defamation. I will be filing a lawsuit against you, Tina in civil court at this juncture for your libelous defamation of me and each family member.  I will try and have you served at a time when you are not with the children. Good luck moving past me and the past in your life. You encompass all negativity of the past and present. Its very sad to see that your emotional problems are spiraling into such a dark abyss. I hope you seek help for the sake of our children's need to have a mentally healthy mother." Where is the Narc Decoder when you need it?  I promise to deliver the results in the next week!
